Embossing step by step
Embossing is an additional option we make use of for production of cardboard labels and packages. This technique entails pressing the materials between two hard chases, in our case they are printing chases, a matrix and counters made of metal.
Depending on the kind of material, its properties and desired results, cold embossing or hot embossing in a temperature of 60°C – 70°C can be used. It is accepted that the best materials allowing to achieve this kind of results are paper and solid board, and today the producers of synthetic materials offer a wide variety of substrates (also transparent and metalized ones) excellent for such applications.
